    NONDISCRIMINATION: The Rim of the World Unified School District is committed to equal opportunity in education for all individuals. District programs and activities shall be free from discrimination based on sex, race, color, religion, national origin, ethnic group, age, marital, pregnancy or parental status, physical or mental handicap, lack of English skills, or any other unlawful consideration. The District shall ensure equal opportunities for all students in admission and access to academic courses, guidance and counseling programs, athletic programs, testing procedures, career technical education, employment and other activities. In accordance with federal law, complaints alleging noncompliance with this policy should be directed to the site administrator. Accommodations and modification needed for students with physical or mental handicaps, who do not qualify for special education, should be made through the Student Study Team (SST).
