Measure W Bond
ROWUSD approved at the board meeting last night to move forward to issue its’ 2017 General Obligation Refunding Bonds in the preliminary par amount of $12.8 million to advance refund portions of the district’s election of 2008 GO Bonds, Series A and Series C. This will result in taxpayer savings providing approximately $1.3 million in gross savings through 2038.
RIMSD Superintendent Michelle Murphy, along with other District Administrators and PTA Officers from our school sites attended the Superintendent Roundtable in San Bernardino on Thursday morning. Guest speakers spoke about the partnerships created in our communities between school district leaders and parents, focusing on supporting students. Thank you to our parent leaders who demonstrate by their service our theme for the year: “Together we can.”
From Derek Swem, Principal, Rim of the World High School
Rena Smith and Cady Price, customer service students, helped put together eighteen jars filled with candy and a $100 Stater Bros gift card, in each jar.
This is a project the customer service students have been doing for the past nine years. Each year, proceeds from the Career Technical Education (CTE) Corner Store have been dedicated to helping families of Rim High School and Mountain High School students in having food for the holiday.
Happy Thanksgiving to All.
