ROWUSD will be implementing a new visitor management system this Spring. The purchase of the equipment and software from Raptor Technologies was approved at last night’s board meeting out of restricted funding. Visitors on campus must present their state-issued ID for a visitor badge to be printed. The system instantly identifies and alerts officials to sex offenders attempting to enter a school as well as any custody or other alerts on file with the district. Raptor is trusted to protect over 20,000 K-12 schools across our nation including schools in San Bernardino County. Today, Friday, March 23, 2018, our band director and instructor, Ms. April (Abir) Naim, was honored as Teacher of the Month by CA Assemblyman Jay Obernolte.  She was chosen from his area, which includes more than a thousand schools.  Ms. Naim has been at Rim of the World High School for four years now and teaches concert band, orchestra, choir, wind ensemble and jazz band.  Her students love her knowledge of vocal and instrumental music techniques as well as her caring spirit and sense of humor.  Keep up the great work!
