The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Employees’ Benefit Association (SEBA) is holding their 18th Annual “Shop with A Cop” program at the Highland Wal-Mart this December 16th, 2018. This program allows our students to go on a holiday shopping spree funded by SEBA.  Each student is chaperoned by a District Attorney volunteer with a $200.00 budget!  The event last approximately 2 hours.

In collaboration with the school sites personnel, the Rim of the World Unified School District was able to identify approximately 12 families that received a surprise call by the Twin Peaks Sheriff Station advising them they were selected by the district to participate in this great event!

This amazing opportunity allows us to bring holiday spirit to our mountain communities!

Charles Hoffman Elementary celebrated the fabulous attendance of students on November 28 & 29.  The photo shows fourth and fifth-grade students on a hike from the school, through the forest, ending up at Firehouse Park in the town of Running Springs.  These students had 95-100% attendance for the first trimester.
