Lauren Tovar, Principal, Valley of Enchantment Elementary School

On Friday, Jan. 18th the4th-grade students participated in the "History Brought to Life" assembly. This assembly reviewed essential history/social science standards in a fun and interactive way. The assembly covered California history that included exploration, the establishment of the missions and the Gold Rush. The presenter shared information, had props and costumes, asked the audience questions, and had the teachers participate too. This is an excellent example of how we can bring the curriculum to life for our students on the mountain.

Thank you to our 4th grade team for finding such a wonderful experience for our students.
