Students in grades 3-8, 10, 11, and 12 will demonstrate their knowledge and skills in language arts, mathematics, and science on the upcoming California Assessments of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). The testing window runs from April 8-May 31. Below you will find links to information and videos to help you support your student with these assessments. Sit down with your child and try a practice test to see what the test is like. Encourage your child to eat a good breakfast, get a good night’s rest, and do his/her best on the test. Reach out to your child’s school if you have questions about the test or your child’s score report from last year. These assessments are important for guiding teachers ‘instruction and are a part of our school and districts accountability. Working together as a team our kids will DO THEIR BEST ON THE TEST.

Please visit https://www.rimsd.k12.ca.us/Page/1818 for more information about the CAASPP assessments.

Lake Arrowhead Elementary’s Every Day Counts! 95% Attendance Recognition

Lake Arrowhead Elementary held their Superintendent's Every Day Counts 95% Awards Activity this past Wednesday. We had 345 students recognized for 95% or higher attendance during Trimester 2. Students painted rocks to be placed throughout our Outdoor Science Learning Classroom! The importance of daily attendance is stressed to students and parents. Not only does daily attendance help students achieve more academically and socially, it also generates revenue for our district and school. This revenue allows additional programs and services to be implemented in supporting overall student success!
