Dear Parents, Students, and Staff,
Welcome to the Rim of the World Unified School District web site.
We hope to enhance our communication and connection with the community on the mountain by updating our website along with our social media accounts. Our administrative team produces positive news every Friday which can be found on this website under Weekly Spotlight. Please also look at our student videos highlighting programs and events in our district under Rim Spotlight. All school sites have brochures that can be found on their websites. Our district also has a new brochure created by a Rim HS 2019 graduate. You can follow me on Facebook under RIMSD Superintendent. A committee formed called the ABC TEAM (Always Be Communicating) includes certificated and classified staff along with community members. The ABC TEAM has 2 purposes to focus on a positive media presence and celebration of people and employees in our community.
Our primary focus is to provide a quality educational program in our schools. Student achievement continues to improve. Various opportunities for students to be involved in the performing arts, 18 sports, and community service projects are available to augment learning experiences. We have quality staff that is dedicated and passionate about providing for and leading our young people.
Our administrative team is continually looking at the 11 High Performing School Standards: Time on Task, Clear Vision, Aligned Curriculum, Collaboration Time, Frequent Monitoring, Strong Leadership, High Expectations, Home/School Communication, Safe Schools, and Heart for ALL Students. Heart for ALL is our theme for the 2018/2019 school year and our administrative team is focusing on Heart for ALL Students, High Expectations, and Clear Vision along with Knowledge of the Best Practices. Each School Site selected their own 3 standards as a focus. I look forward to serving the community and the district for my third year in ROWUSD. Thank you!
