I am currently entering my second year as the Principal of Mountain High School, as well as my 28th year in education. My role as an educational leader provides me an opportunity to make a difference with all of our stakeholders. The best part of my experience is interacting with our students and watching them mature into young adults. I feel that our academics, along with the extra support our students receive, helps students reconnect with their foundation to thrive as viable citizens in our local and global communities. We continue to address rigor and relevance through our courses while developing a love for learning to support continued education beyond high school for our students.
I am excited for the 2016-17 school year as we are incorporating fine arts and CTE/ROP classes for our students. We are building a leadership class, a school site council, a more conducive learning environment for our students to be successful. I look forward to working with all stakeholders to make the 2016-17 school year successful!
