1. Increase student learning and support professional development. 2. Facilitate a safe and positive school climate. 3. Engage families and the community.
This week our superintendent, Michelle Murphy, presented a workshop for teachers entitled Time to Teach. This same workshop will be repeated next week so other interested teachers may attend. The workshop focused on facilitating positive classroom environments, reducing classroom disruptions and negative behaviors to increase “Time to Teach” and student learning. Lots of great ideas and resources were shared. This supports our priorities of increasing student learning, professional development, and a safe, positive school climate.
