Dear Parent/Guardian

On behalf of the Child Nutrition Staff:

You could be eligible to receive $120.00 of financial benefits. The Consolidated Appropriations Act authorized a new permanent, nationwide S-EBT Program beginning Summer 2024. S-EBT is designed to provide financial benefits for groceries to eligible children when school is not in session. Each eligible child will receive a card with $120 for use over the summer period, which is June 1st through August 31st.

For 2024 S-EBT, children must have individual eligibility through direct certification or an Household Income Data Form on file. If you are not directly certified (on SNAP, or TANF benefit etc.) and think you may qualify and have not filled out an income data form, please complete the form enclosed. We are required to collect this information and pass it on to the state.

For qualifying individuals, the Income Data Form has some extra benefits for families. Families can receive discounts on their utility bills such as gas and electricity. The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) can help you to receive up to $30.00 off your monthly internet bill. Some college application fees, PSAT/SAT, and AP testing fees for high school students can be waived for qualifying families.

If you have any questions or need help with obtaining or completing an Income Data Form, please call (909) 336-4164 or come into the Child Nutrition office at 24740 San Moritz Way, Crestline, CA 92325. Thank you for your support in feeding all our students.
