Parent Volunteer Driver Information

Thank you for your interest in becoming a parent volunteer driver for Rim of the World Unified School District.

To obtain Board approval as a parent volunteer driver, you must submit the following:

• A copy of your valid California driver's license.
• A copy of your current DMV driving record showing a clean driving record.
• A copy of your current automobile insurance declaration page showing the minimum required coverage listed below.

Minimum Required Insurance Coverage

• Bodily Injury: $100,000/$300,000
• Property Damage: $50,000
• Medical Payments: $5,000

If you would like to apply to become a parent volunteer driver for your child's athletic events, field trips, or other school-sponsored activities, please complete the Parent Driver Information Packet by clicking the link below:

Once completed, the form will automatically be submitted to the Transportation Department for processing.

Please Note: If you plan to drive only your own child to a school activity or sporting event, you must also complete the required application for transporting your own child.
