Welcome to Child Nutrition Services!

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.


Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Overview

Our goal for our site is to better serve the Rim of the World Unified School District schools, parents, and students.

Within this site, you will find the following useful information about Nutrition Services:

  • Student meal menus for ROWUSD elementary, middle, and high school
  • The Sun Bucks Program 
  • Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, Income Survey data is being collected during the online enrollment process through the Parent Square Portal for new students only.

No-Cost Breakfast and Lunch Meals

Dear Families, 

ROWUSD will provide NO-COST breakfast and lunch meals for youth (18 and under) in our community from June 17th to July 29th this summer.

Pick-Up Day: Every Tuesday only 
Location: Rim High School; 27400 CA Hwy 18, Lake Arrowhead, CA
Time: 11:30 am to 12:30 pm only

Please note the following guidelines:
ROWUSD Students:
If your children are not present at pick-up, you must bring their student ID card or student bus pass to receive meals on their behalf. 

Non-ROWUSD Children: 
If the child(ren) are not enrolled in ROWUSD, the child(ren) must be present in person during meal pick-up to receive food.

These guidelines help us comply with program guidelines and ensure meals reach eligible youth in our community.

Breakfast & Lunch Meals for Youth 18 & under. NO-COST MEALS For Our Youth in the Community. Receive 5 days' worth of Breakfast & Lunch Meals starting June 17th through July 29th, 2025. Pick-up time is from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Location for Pick up is at  Rim High School- 27400 CA Hwy 18, Lake Arrowhead, CA

Note: Please park in the smaller (teacher's) parking lot on Hwy 18, not the High School's Main Parking Lot. Thank you!
