Page 2: Superintendent Message: From ROWUSD Superintendent, Dr. Paul Sevillano A Message from the Superintendent: Dear ROWUSD Families, Staff, and Community Members, On September 11th,  School Board Trustees, district leadership, staff, and community members came together for a  Board Study Session.  During this meeting, the group reached an agreement on the district’s highest priorities: electrical upgrades, roofing, and HVAC improvements.  This Study Session reflected our commitment to transparency and community engagement in ensuring the best educational environment for all students.  In alignment with the District’s Facilities Master Plan, cost estimates for all schools are currently being completed. A follow-up meeting will be held to review, update, and move forward with the base costs established for all schools. All of this important work is being made possible through the approval of Measure E and Bond funding.
Looking ahead, I encourage you to join us at the upcoming School Board Meeting on Thursday, September 18, 2025. These gatherings are an important part of our collective responsibility to shape the future of education in our district. The District is proud to share that across our schools, we see incredible progress. Our students are thriving academically and socially, supported by dedicated teachers, staff, and engaged families. Our Preschool program continues to give our youngest learners a strong foundation, and our adult education programs are empowering community members to pursue new opportunities for growth and success. Together, these efforts reflect our district’s commitment to lifelong learning for every age and stage. Rim of the World Unified School District remains committed to fostering success for learners of all ages and preparing them to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
