A Message from the Superintendent
Dear ROWUSD Students, Families, Staff, and Community Members,
As Superintendent, I want to acknowledge the challenges this week’s storms have brought to our families and broader community. Inclement weather has disrupted routines, closed our schools, and required all of us to adjust quickly. While these interruptions are never easy, they highlight one of our district’s greatest strengths, our resilience.
It has been inspiring to witness the strength, flexibility, and unity shown by our students, staff, families, and community members. Whether adapting to revised schedules, supporting learning at home, or checking in on neighbors and loved ones, our school community continues to exemplify care, determination, and compassion. In moments of uncertainty, our school community shines.
Please know that the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families remain our highest priority. Every decision the district and school board make is guided by this commitment. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and partnership at this time.
Storms may interrupt plans, but they do not define the ROWUSD spirit!
What defines us is how we respond with courage, compassion, and perseverance. Together, we will return on Monday even stronger.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school community.
