Page: Someone Put a Spell on Our Mountain Weather. It’s October on the Mountain & it looks like someone must have stirred the cauldron a little too hard. Instead of Crisp Fall breezes & sweater weather, we've been tricked by a Halloween heatwave...Keeping Students Safe During Hot Weather. As temperatures rise, keeping students and staff safe and comfortable is our priority. At school, we may adjust outdoor activities, recess, and PE during the hottest parts of the day.
Students will have access to cool indoor spaces and water. We will encourage frequent water and shade breaks. Families Can Help
Send your student with a reusable water bottle each day. Dress them in lightweight, breathable clothing.
Apply sunscreen and consider sending a hat for outdoor activities. Remind your student to drink water throughout the day. Please notify school staff if your student has heat-related health concerns. Double, double, toil & trouble...cool our mountain on the double! Come on, Mother Nature...bring back the BOO-tiful FALL weather!
Cooler days, chilly nights, colorful leaves, & that cozy mountain weather we love in the Fall!
